Glen Davis was born in Shawnee, Okla., to Oscar and Eva Davis, with two older siblings, Dean and Alice. When Glen was a child, his father died and his mother worked full time to support the family.

Glen spent many summers with aunts and uncles in Oklahoma and

Texas, and often spoke of their influence on his life, modeling and teaching responsibility, a work ethic, and how to be a faithful husband and father.

During World War II, Glen and Alice moved with their mother to California, where he met Jane Lee. They attended high school at Sharon Bible School in Madera, Calif., and married on Valentine’s Day 1953.

They raised three children, Michael, Cheri and Dale in South Bay and Orange County. Glen often worked two jobs, having been in the aircraft industry and grocery stores. He excelled at selling insurance and securities.

The family camped in the Lake Arrowhead area several summers, decided to build a home, and moved there in 1972. They were active at Community Baptist Church (now Sandal’s Church).

Due to health issues, they moved to Sun Lakes in Banning, Calif. When Glen retired, he and Jane traveled to enjoy their grandchildren. Later they lived with family in Santa Clarita and in Torrance.

Glen was preceded in death by his mother; his brother, Dean; and his wife, Jane. He is survived by his sister, Alice Waits; his children Michael (Anne) of Torrance; Cheri (Ken) of Whittier; and Dale (Sheryl) of Lake Arrowhead; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
