More than just a dance wear and accessories store with the latest in styles, Studio Boutique, located in Lake Arrowhead Village, is stocked full with a variety of items, including apparel, shoes, candles, jewelry, decor, and more. It is owned by Sharon McCormick, who is also the owner of Lake Arrowhead School of Dance.

The store boasts the beauty of dance by displaying and selling apparel with vibrant colors and attractive patterns, and also invites the shopper to experience the delicacy and intimacy of the store. The delightful smells throughout can be credited to the candles on display, as well as other items which are sold at affordable prices and reveal the elegance of the store.

McCormick is decidedly particular about the items she selects for her boutique. She mentioned that she attends artisan shows in order to ‘experience’ the items before choosing them. One brand she gravitates toward is Anju Jewelry, which is handcrafted to make a statement. This brand creates rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets, all of which are sold at the boutique.

Some of the jewelry from this brand, McCormick said, is not just for women. She recalls that a man came in once and bought a necklace/earring set that incorporated a pine tree. He told McCormick that the earrings were for his wife and the necklace was for himself.

The reason that Studio Boutique is not merely a store with dance wear and dance accessories is because McCormick desired one that gives something to its shoppers — and not just those interested in dance — although that, of course, is one of her greatest passions. Studio Boutique has, through the years, also turned into one of her greatest passions, which is why McCormick spends a lot of time organizing and arranging her products in a way that will be appealing and interesting to new and regular customers alike.

“I love to help people find what they want while shopping,” she expressed. “I care about what they need.”

McCormick went on to say that she will do whatever she can do to ensure that her customers leave the boutique satisfied, as well as excited about the items they purchased.

Some customers may come in looking for a specific item, and McCormick will walk the store and check the back before telling them she does not have it. That is one way she makes sure that her customers feel like their needs are being considered.

“I will put in the work,” McCormick commented. “I love what I do and I love the store because of the people I am able to meet,” she concluded.

Studio Boutique is located dockside on the lower level of Lake Arrowhead Village. It is open Monday through Saturday. For more information, call (909) 336-9206.
