Deputies had been receiving information over the past few weeks pertaining to a residence possibly being used for the unlawful cultivation of marijuana. Deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station investigated and obtained a search warrant based on deputy observations gleaned during the investigation.

They served the search warrant at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, in the 1000 block of Rockridge Drive in the Deer Lodge Park area of Lake Arrowhead. Deputies found the house unoccupied but located an indoor marijuana grow operation with the entire home being utilized for marijuana cultivation.

Throughout the residence, deputies located and identified equipment used to grow marijuana by means of controlling the indoor climate. This equipment included multiple air conditioning units, a sophisticated ventilation system, humidifier, heat generating lamps, irrigation and insulation throughout the house.

During the operation, deputies located approximately 200 mature marijuana plants. Members of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Marijuana Eradication Team confiscated the plants.

No known suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information related to this investigation is urged to call Deputy Frederico Perez of the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station at (909) 336-0600; or contact Detective Corey Lawrence of the Marijuana Eradication Team. Callers wishing to remain anonymous can call the We-Tip Hotline at 1 (800) 782-7463.
