Public input is being sought on the Blue Jay Village Resort project. San Bernardino County Land Use Services has set a deadline of May 8, 2019, for all comments to be submitted to County Planning.

On behalf of Rock Ridge Resources Inc., Bill Moller has submitted an application for a conditional use permit to establish the following:

• A 60,000-square-foot hotel with 46 rooms;

• A 2,119-square-foot brewery/deli;

A 2,764-square-foot coffee/malt shop;

• and a 7,282 square-foot outdoor amphitheater.

The location at 27177 State Highway 189 in Blue Jay is on 5.89 acres. The project was described in the March 28 issue of the Mountain News.

To ensure your comments are included in the final project action, be certain that County Planning receives them no later than May 8. Refer to the project by the applicant’s name (Bill Moller - Rock Ridge Resources Inc.) and by Assessor Parcel Number 0335-331-07. The project number is P201700403/CUP.

Any questions regarding the proposal may be directed to Planner, Chris Warrick at (909) 387-4112 or by sending an email to Chris.Warrick@lus.sbcounty.gov. Faxes are accepted at (909) 387-3223.

The U.S. Postal Service is another option: San Bernardino County Land Use Services, Planning Project Notice, 385 North Arrowhead Avenue, First Floor, San Bernardino, CA 92415-0187.

Use this same address if you want to be notified of the project decision. Provide the project information with your request, print your name and address clearly and legibly. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope, and mail it to the address above.

All project decisions are subject to an appeal period of 10 calendar days after an action is taken.
