The Lake Arrowhead Magazine is the official magazine for Lake Arrowhead and the surrounding mountain communities where mountain history, human interest stories, local attractions, signature events and festivals are featured in each issue.

Published three times a year, Lake Arrowhead Magazine is distributed in Los Angeles County, Orange County and San Diego County. From Malibu to San Diego, the Magazine reaches several affluent communities. During the winter season, distribution extends to the desert cities.

“The Spring issue of Lake Arrowhead Magazine will be published in late March,” said Angela Yap, managing director of the 20-year-old Lake Arrowhead Magazine. “We offer a special advertising opportunity for local businesses that enjoy exposure on and off the mountains.”

“How can you Google Lake Arrowhead if you have never heard of Lake Arrowhead?” asked Yap. “Lake Arrowhead is such a well-kept secret that it has to be discovered through a print medium like the Lake Arrowhead Magazine.”

“The premier issue of Lake Arrowhead Magazine was introduced in 2001,” Yap said. “The Magazine took off right away because it offers interesting stories and useful information for our visitors. And it also offers a rare opportunity for local businesses to promote their goods and services.” Both the local residents and the second homeowners enjoy reading the magazine and often keep it as their go-to coffee table magazine for friends and family visiting Lake Arrowhead.

“The Lake Arrowhead Magazine communicates our lifestyle, hundreds of things to do and people to get to know,” said Robin Bull, executive director of the Lake Arrowhead Chamber of Commerce. “At the Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center, the Lake Arrowhead Magazine functions as a Visitor Guide, we hand it out to visitors, tourists and guests so they too can experience the Lake Arrowhead Lifestyle like the locals.”

“The most important publication distributed on and off our mountain, in my opinion, is the Lake Arrowhead Magazine,” said Diane Dragotto Williams, Director of Wildhaven Ranch. “Not only do visitors who frequent our businesses find out what’s available for the public in these magazines, but the articles and photography are of high quality, and feature interesting people and attractions in our community. We find that our guests to Wildhaven Ranch take a copy with them to remember their special day with us, and for future reference to visit Lake Arrowhead again.”

“The Lake Arrowhead Magazine is an important part of Snow Valley’s print advertising strategy,” said Kevin Somes, general manager of Snow Valley Mountain Resort and president of the Running Springs Chamber of Commerce. “Not only does it give us great exposure here on the mountain, but also in many communities down the mountain where many of our Guests reside. The Magazine is a quality publication, looks impressive and is an effective advertising method.”

“I have customers coming into my store with the Lake Arrowhead Magazine and asked me if I still have the featured jacket or dress in stock,” said Sondra Hughes, owner of Sondra’s Wild Sophistication in Lake Arrowhead Village. “People like to see pretty pictures of my clothing.”

“The Lake Arrowhead Magazine is the official magazine we keep in every guest room at the UCLA Conference Center,” said Dylan Matteson, Director of the UCLA Conference Center. “We encourage our guests to take the magazine home.”

“Advertising space is limited with few spots available in the upcoming Spring issue,” said Angela Yap. “Anyone interested in promoting their businesses in the Lake Arrowhead Magazine can call my phone number at (951) 318-8481 or send an email to To reserve your advertising space in the Spring issue, please contact us before Monday, March 9. We offer many options and ad sizes range from business cards to multiple pages.”

“We also have an award-winning graphic design team who can create interesting ads and campaigns for our clients,” added Yap.
