Deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station arrested a 36-year-old Cedar Glen woman May 8, allegedly for stealing lottery tickets, cash and merchandise from her employer, the Shell gas station in Twin Peaks.

According to a press release from the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station, deputies executed a search warrant in the 29000 block of Lyon Drive at 9 a.m., based upon the results of an investigation after employers at the gas station filed a complaint of embezzlement.

Deputies reported that during execution of the warrant, they recovered approximately $1,000 worth of non-winning California Lottery scratcher tickets. The tickets were taken as evidence.

After completing the search warrant and his investigation, Deputy Bullag arrested Lori L. Nelson, a mother of one, for California Penal Code §503, embezzlement and for PC §487, grand theft.

Nelson was transported to the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino for booking. She was released May 9 at 6:11 p.m. on her own recognizance.
