Two Crestline residents were arrested Monday morning for possession of drugs for sales and possession of stolen property after deputies served a search warrant in the 700 block of South Village Lane.

According to a press release from the sheriffs department Twin Peaks station, Courtney Hebert, 38, and Howard Shelton, 48, were at the residence at 9 a.m. when deputies reportedly found approximately 50 grams of methamphetamine, along with multiple digital scales and a large amount of packing material, which is used for the sale of methamphetamine.

In addition, deputies found about $1,000 in cash, a large amount of drug paraphernalia and items that deputies believe to be stolen property, the press release stated.

Hebert and Shelton were arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino. Bail has been set at $90,000 each. The case is being submitted to the district attorney’s office for review.

Anyone with information regarding this case should contact Deputy Jason Mascetti at the Twin Peaks sheriff’s station: (909) 336-0600 or call WeTip at 1 (800) 78-CRIME.
