Man Admits Threats in Mustard Case

Posted: Thursday, May 19, 2016 6:00 am

Sentencing is scheduled for July 20 for a Running Springs man, already on parole for felony vehicular manslaughter, who pleaded guilty last week to making criminal threats against his neighbor in a case that involved mustard.

Court records say Ramon Perez Peraita, 53, entered his plea at a preliminary hearing before Judge Richard V. Peel. A second felony charge, assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, is expected to be dismissed at sentencing.
