A few years ago the SoCal League was forced to cancel its annual summer camp as a result of record snowfall that had folks skiing the mountain through June. Unfortunately history repeated itself this year when Mammoth recorded is highest snowfall, during a month long period, on record. So what does that mean for SoCal Mountain Bike Camp? Well clearly the SoCal League will no longer be hosting Summer Camp at Mammoth this year.

Luckily the league was able to secure an outstanding backup venue in Big Bear at a facility that we have hosted at previously. That venue, which we are announcing today, is the Big Bear Christian Camp and Conference Centerlocated right in the heart of Big Bear alongside the lake.

The originally planned camp dates of July 14-19 will remain the same and REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN with limited space for both girls and boys wanting to attend as residential campers. Currently nearly 70 student athletes are registered for camp and we fully expect camp to sell out so do not delay!

Programming will be almost identical to our planned Mammoth Camp but with a few added extra activities that we did not have access to in Mammoth. Riders can expect a week of riding, social activities and games, bonfires, a trip to the Snow Summit Bike Park, and much more.

If you have a rider that would like to attend camp please be sure to email with a request to register ASAP. Registration requests will be attended to on a first come first served basis and once camp fills a wait list will be created.

We hope you'll join us for camp this season at Big Bear. We have a stellar week planned and it's gonna be a blast!
