The Fighting Scots Tennis team hosted Arrowhead Christian Academy on Friday, March 6. This was a rescheduled match because of the recent storm that left 4 inches of snow covering the courts.  Fortunately, all the snow had melted and the temperature was in the low 60s, providing great weather for the tennis match.

The doubles team of Chris Rakow and Donnie Clark was on Court One competing against Arrowhead Christian’s number one team. Rakow and Clark lost the match in a tiebreaker. Rebounding from the first loss, Rakow and Clark beat Arrowhead Christian’s second doubles team, 6 to 3 and the third doubles team, 6 to 0.

It was a challenging meet for The Fighting Scots tennis team; ultimately they lost to Arrowhead Christian, 7 to 11. On Thursday, March 12, Rim will compete with San Gorgonio High at home.   The match starts at 3:15 p.m. but you might want to bring your sunglasses and a beach chair as the weather is getting warmer!
