The Fighting Scots Basketball team hosted a powerful Eisenhower Eagles team on Tuesday, Jan. 14. The Fighting Scots came out slow and the Eagles took off and never looked back in the first period of the game. The Eisenhower team was faster, more powerful, and able to connect with more baskets than the Fighting Scots; the first half of the game finished with a score of Eisenhower, 43, and Rim of the World, 22.

With a comfortable lead, the Eagles started subbing in other players, allowing Rim to score a high of 19 points for the third period of play.  During the fourth period, and with the game out of reach for any kind of comeback for the Fighting Scots, Rim Coach Lindemann subbed in players, giving the kids some vital experience in playing. Those subs did well enough to score 15 points in the final fourth period of play.  When the game was over the score was Eisenhower, 89, and the Fighting Scots, 56.

Come out and support the Fighting Scots Basketball Team, as the next home game will be on Tuesday, Jan. 28, against Jurupa Hills; the game will start at 6:30 p.m.
