Last Wednesday the Fighting Scots Boys Baseball team hosted Eisenhower High in what turned out to be an exciting game.

The first inning finished with both teams even at 0-0. The bottom of the second inning with Rim up to bat, Colin Morris, #1, got a base hit and was safe on first base. Will Daniels, #7, at bat, who walked to first base with four balls, followed this. With runners on first and second, Brian Garcia, #23, hit a sacrifice grounder and both Colin Morris and Will Daniels advanced to second and third base.

Kyle Taylor, #24, then hit a ground ball and made it to first base with Colin Morris, #1, going for a home run, and Will Daniels advanced to third. When the inning was over, the score was Rim, 1, and Eisenhower, 0.

Both teams played well and, other than a few hits from both teams, the remainder of the game became a duel between the two pitchers, resulting in either striking out the batter or a grounder where the runner was thrown out at first base.

The game ended, the score still Rim, 1 and the Eisenhower Eagles, 0.

The next home game is on Friday, April 19, at 3 p.m. against Rialto.
