Last week on Tuesday, Jan. 14, the Fighting Scots soccer team hosted the Eisenhower Eagles at Townsend Stadium in what proved to be another frustrating game. The defensive backs of the Fighting Scots Soccer team had their work cut out for them as they staved off several shots on goal by the Eagles and at the end of the first half, the score was 0-0.

At the beginning of the second half of play, Rim had reason to be optimistic; after all, it was a tie game and if they could keep up with the defense and set something up on offense, they could score a goal.   Regrettably, the Eagles scored their first goal in the first minute of the second half and their second five minutes later. When the game was over, the final score was Fighting Scots, 0, and Eisenhower Eagles, 6.

Bring your air horns and warm cloths with some hot chocolate and support The Fighting Scots Soccer team, as they will be hosting Arroyo Valley on Tuesday, Jan. 21. The game will commence at 3:15 p.m.
