San Gorgonio Knights in the first home match of the season. It was refreshing to see them with so much focus on the game and even though they are a relatively young team, they show a lot of promise. Under the leadership of head coach Bob Kutch and his two assistant coaches, Beth Elliott and Ed Patron, they are in the process of building a competitive Fighting Scots

boys volleyball team.

The boys played the best I have seen in several years and although they lost to San Gorgonio, the sets by the Fighting Scots were very respectable. The first set was Rim,

16, San Gorgonio, 25. The second set was Rim, 19, San Gorgonio, 25. The third set was Rim, 18, San Gorgonio, 25. I believe this is an exciting young team that has a lot of potential that could lead to their best season yet.

The next home Fighting Scots Boys Volleyball game is on March 3 against Eisenhower. Come out and cheer on your Fighting Scots volleyball team.

The line-up in the first week of March for Rim home games are as follows:

Tuesday, March 3

Boys Baseball against Arroyo Valley at 3:15 p.m.

Boys Tennis against Yucaipa at 3:15 p.m.

Thursday, March 5

Boys Baseball against Arroyo Valley at 3:15 p.m.

Boys Tennis against Arrowhead Christian at 3:15 p.m.

Girls Softball against Arroyo Valley at 3:15 p.m.

For a great afternoon come out and support one of the teams.
